Reality Is Almost Always Wrong

Goes ding when there's stuff.

I have free roast beef sandwiches, which is cool.
Oh my God, work, could you be ANY SLOWER this evening???

You think I'm complaining, but actually I...well, yes, I am complaining. Just about the slowness, though; the nothing-happening aspect of life is very nice, as it's the reason I am able to write this post. And do some research for a Thing. And stuff.

So, obsessive24 is a Very Excellent Person, and has given me permanent hosting space for my little collection of (mostly) tiny-fandom vids.

Newest vids at the top, oldest at the bottom:

Hannibal: What You Do Best
Hannibal Lecter is the best at being the worst.

Heritage Minutes: Dance to Yesterday
The medium is the message. (C'eci n'est pas une Heritage Minute.)

Supernatural: Full Circle
Castiel(/Dean)'s head turns full circle.

Supernatural: The Man Who Sold the World
Castiel never lost control. *COUGH*

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Burn Notice, Carnivale, Community, Doctor Who, Dollhouse, Firefly, Merlin, Slings & Arrows, Smallville, Spartacus, Supernatural, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Vampire Diaries, Torchwood, White Collar: Pornstar Dancing
Being a thoughtful, sensitive, and nuanced examination of gendered expressions and characterisations of desire. (Also known as: Let's Objectify Men.)

Criminal Minds: Demon Host
Hotch represses and denies. Jack is doomed.

Power Play: Fireworks
A cancelled Canadian TV show about hockey to a Tragically Hip song. About hockey. (It's not really about hockey.)

Early Edition: New World Order
Gary Hobson: big damn hero.

Supernatural: Run For Your Life
"Participatory culture" means everybody gets to play. (Spoilers through 5.01.)

Top Of The Food Chain, AKA Invasion!: Ring
The taming of Doctor Karel Lamonte, Atomic Scientist, through the gentle persistence of Guy and Sandy Fawkes. (A love story.) (With aliens.)

Doctor Who, Heroes, Pushing Daisies, Torchwood: Believe In Anything
Reach out, touch faith.

Sarah Connor Chronicles: Paris Is Burning
All of this has happened before, and all of it will happen again. Evil robots. Humanity's last stand(s). Season one overview, pretty much.

Profit: Conspicuous Consumption Can't Give You Love
Jim and Bobbi, Grasping Opportunists. (The title says it all.)

Raines: Dead!
Meet Detective Michael Raines. Now meet all the dead people who live in his head and bug the hell out of him. (Post-trauma issues are a bitch.)

CSI: New York: Bright Lights Big City
Mac Taylor's three marriages: to his wife, his job, and his city. (He's been widowed more than once, too.)

Doctor Who: Joy (The Doctor and Rose, through 'Doomsday')
I know what I wanted to do here, but my reach exceeded my grasp. Still, there's one section that came out exactly right, and I love that section to bits, because it sums up exactly what I wanted to say to Rose at that point in her life. (I'm trying not to be spoilery, despite the years-oldness of 'Doomsday'. *g*)

Doctor Who: Somewhere Over the Rainbow (Nine and Rose)
In which I go to the Wizard Of Oz well yet again, and the Doctor is a bluebird of happiness.

Profit: Evil Twin
My second vid ever, and It Shows. Not quite as badly as It Shows in my first vid ever (and you'll notice that vid is not included here--I still have happy thoughts of redoing it so it doesn't suck, 'cause the whole idea of it still makes me giggle), but still. You have been warned.

...well, that ate up an hour.

*twiddles thumbs*
